About El Velorio
El Velorio, the longest-running event in our portfolio, is one of the largest Día de los Muertos celebrations dedicated to honoring our loved ones who have passed. This vibrant event showcases a large-scale art exhibition curated by renowned LA-based curators. The musical lineup features a dynamic mix of local and international bands and DJs, with performances spanning Mariachi, Cumbia, Salsa, Merengue, and more. Past hosts include actor Danny Trejo and Emmy-nominated radio and TV personality Alysha Del Valle.
Art Show
With over 200 artists from all across the country, including internationally from South America, El Velorio gives emerging artists an opportunity to showcase alongside established artists.
Fashion Show
El Velorio features a fashion show that’s unmatched by any Day of the Dead event. These incredible fashion shows are curated by the talented Loretta Vampz and have been since 2014.
